Another week, another set of great Terra data dashboards.
We’ve got four Terra data dashboards to highlight this week. That includes submissions from @lostindefi, @MaybeYonas, and MarneeSeaweed.
Let’s dive in.
Governance on Terra 🗳️
We’ll start with a look at governance on Terra from @lostindefi. This submission looked to zoom further into the proposal and break them down by when they’re proposed and what type of proposal they are.
As we can see in the graph above, there was a notable increase in proposal activity around the release and debut of Anchor Protocol on March 17. There was a similar increase in proposals following the LUNA price crash on the week of May 17. @lostindefi also examined governance proposals based on who’s proposing them and more. Check out the whole submission here.
How delegators delegate
@lostindefi also pitched in on our next highlighted submission, which examined how Terra delegators are picking their validators. More specifically, we wanted to know if Terra delegators are diversifying their delegations, or whether they tend to delegate to the same addresses repeatedly.
As @lostindefi points out, most delegators tend to delegate to a single validator, or at most two. And, as we can see in the graph below, it doesn’t seem to matter how much LUNA a delegator is staking — whether it’s 10 LUNA or 1 million LUNA, they tend to delegate to a single validator.
MarneeSeaweed also examined delegators and validators in this submission. And, as we can see in the graph below, most delegators favor a small number of validators. In fact, most users (52%) delegate to only 1 unique validator, while the second-largest group delegates to two validators.
How Anchor Impacts UST
Last but not least, we have a submission from @MaybeYonas that examines the impact of Anchor on the growth of UST.
As we can see in the graph below, the launch of Anchor seemed to coincide with a rise in the volume of UST. We can also see that while the total UST volume increased by a total of 80 percent, the total UST locked in Anchor rose even more quickly, at a rate of 300%.
This was a detailed submission with plenty more to take in, so be sure to check out the whole thing here.
