Flipside’s crypto bounty program is growing — and we want to make sure you get on board.
So, with that in mind, we’re presenting this guide to completing bounties and getting paid. Consider it your map to the world of crypto bounties. Just follow the steps below, and you’ll be a bounty hunter in no time.
And, if you have any issues along the way, don’t hesitate to reach out via our Discord server.
Step 1: Sign up for Velocity
Start by visiting Velocity, Flipside’s SQL-powered key to unlocking our community-enabled analytics and on-chain data.
Signing up for a new account is simple. Just visit https://velocity-app.flipsidecrypto.com/, and enter the information requested. Within a few quick moments, you’ll be ready to start solving bounties and getting paid for your efforts.
Step 2: View open bounties on Notion and claim yours
Once you’ve got a Velocity account, it’s time to claim your first bounty and get to work.
To claim a bounty, start by visiting the Notion page for the project you want to participate in. You can find our Uniswap bounties here, and our Terra bounties here. Then, take a look at the available bounties for your chosen project until you find one that piques your interest. When you’re ready to start work, comment in Notion that you’ll be working on the bounty. That way, you can be sure you’ll be one of the 25 submissions per bounty to be considered.
Step 3: Run your query and create a dashboard
Once you’ve created an account and claimed your query, it’s time to get to work on your submission.
To get your answer, start by creating and naming a new collection, and creating a new query. Then add that query to the Velocity interface, select the schema and table you need to complete it, and run your query. The data should then populate below. If you need more help with this step, check out this tutorial video.
Step 4: Review and publish your results
Once you’ve got your data ready, it’s time to complete your submission.
Start by reviewing your data and query to ensure that you’ve answered every part of the question and used the correct data to do so. (Remember, the best bounty submissions score highly in terms of both completeness and accuracy!) Then, add your data to a new dashboard. You can also create graphs and other visualizations to help users better read and understand your findings.
If you have more questions about this, just check out the video below.
Step 5: Sit back, relax, and submit your bounty
Just one step left — it’s time to share your findings with our team!
To do so, just submit your dashboard using the proper form. You can submit Uniswap bounties here, and Terra bounties here. Then, sit back, relax, and wait for our team to review it! Or, if you just can’t wait to learn more and continue your journey, just go back to Notion, pick another bounty, and get started!
